I'm aware the're are a few luther's that I've chatted to that are member on this site, any body interested in the carbon reso body available on ebay: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280252693402&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123Item: 280252693402 I'd like to point out that I've no interest in this finacially or otherwise, just thought there might be interest within the community. Interestingly somebody has already asked whether it is alan timmins body. Anybody know? Thanks - Kris

It certainly looks like Alan's work. The guy who made the Status Basses worked with Alan building the necks on his F1 guitars. I would say this is an Alan Timmins 14 fret single cone body. The only other possibility is that Laz, the guy who made the Status Basses (who also worked with Carbon Fibre) made it? Shine On Michael

That looks pretty much like the body of the guitar I was banging on about in the thread about Alan Timmins that I had seen in Frailers guitar shop a few years back. Incidentally, Frank confirmed that it was one of Alan Timmin's guitars that he'd had on stock and that it had come from Derbyshire. He can't remember where it went though. I'd be tempted to bid for this body but my guitar building skills amount to zilch .

Hi Bill,
Me too - I think it would make a great guitar, and it should be saved. But like you, I have no guitar building skills.
An MM BLUES neck, coverplate & cone would sort it.

At 255 someone got a bargain! Any clues as to who bought it?

Shine On Michael But Michael its a 14 fret body! Is there something you aren't telling us about your plans for MM guitars? Coverplates can be a bit tricky - the NRP coverplate is smaller than most of the Korean and Chinese parts.

Hi Tark,
We are looking into the possibility of a 14 fret MM Blues. There are a few prototypes in our first shipment that I have not had the chance to see yet.
Shine On Michael.
