Hello all! In an unashamed bout of self promotion....check out a couple of simple tracks of mine on www.myspace.com/nylow....these were previously linked from the Busker Guitars site but I changed my 'myspace' address so that link is out of action now. Both are played on my Busker Delta with additional sounds provided by a cheapo (but kinda nice sounding) Harley Benton electric lapsteel (from Thomann) and were recorded using AKG C2000 and Rode NT1A mics into ProTools. Hope you enjoy...best regards, Jackstrat (a.k.a. Nylow, a.k.a. Niall....definitely split personalities!!)

Hi - i really enjoyed that The delta is the Busker Tricone? Sounds nice, a bit mellower than my Vintage with NRP cones. Cheers Roj

Hiya Roj, No, the Busker Delta is the steel-bodied single cone, something similar to the new MM Blues (I think it's like it anyways...MM or Robin will confirm)...but you're right, it does have a very mellow sound and I play without fingerpicks which probably adds to the softness a bit...although I've promised Robin that I'll broaden my horizons and try using picks (again!)... Hi Niall, The link to your MySpace is working from my website - it is just the address that is wrong - I'll sort that. I love the Celtic flavour of your music - it is really cool to hear a resonator used in that setting. Though both are steel-bodied single cones the MM Blues and the Busker Delta feel quite different when you get them in your hands as the body size and necks are vary quite considerably. it is a bit like the Martin D and OM series. Both great guitars made in the same workshop but very different in character. Keep practicing with those fingerpicks Robin

Ahhh, Some patience required We still have a few MM Blues to ship first. I played my Hobo at a couple of gigs over the bank holiday weekend and when I dug in it sounded like I was sporting a valve overdrive stomp box - but no, it was just mic'd up ;D Robin PS Keep practicing with those finger picks!
