Stolen guitars - a friend's guitars, in Tayport, Scotland

Hi there !

I great guitarist I saw many times playing, years back when I was a student in Dundee, and bandmates with guys I'm now in a band with.
Work took him to a big job in Hong Kong for the last 25yrs or so - but he only just got his guitars shipped back to Scotland, and came over for a fleeting visit to unload his shipment into his house, then back to Hong Kong for a last short while.

While he was gone, his house in Tayport, on the south side of the Tay river, across from Dundee & Broughty Ferry, was broken into and he had 6 guitars stolen :

1. Strat - Fender Japan neck & rosewood fretboard,with black headstock & Warmoth body - black with tortoise scratchplate
2. Fender Japan Telecaster - cream body, maple fretboard, Serial no. U007627
3. Warmoth style Fender Strat - light blue body, maple fretboard, no serial number
4. Warmoth style Strat - all custom-made, rosewood fretboard, foam-green headstock veneer, walnut top body, 3x LIPSTICK pickups, no serial number
5. vintage SUPRO Dual-Tone electric guitar - white body, 2x original pickups, Serial no. T51368, in an Epiphone hard case
6. Custom-built Ry Coodercaster type Fender Strat 4188078, MZ4188078 (Fender Mexican, I suspect) - Supro & Lap Steel pickups, as far as I can tell

Maybe send an email to Luke Hobbs at Gardiner Houlgate, as a musical auction house they seem to be leading the way and you never know somebody may be stupid enough to consign them there.
