Sadly deceased genius played a 1930βs national. Does anybody know what happened to it when he died? The clips of him from the dust radio film just before he died he still had it.

I have no idea, but I hope they got guitars in the afterlife...

Chris's brother Daniel inherited all of Chris's instruments ππ Slide On! The Flaschenmeister. Ah good. Be a shame if they had to sell them to pay for his medical bills.

It was a well worn Triolian and he also favoured a 50@s student valco.

allthingschriswhitley.com Has all the info on the Nationals used for recording & live play. Oh nice. Thanks. I first heard phone call from Leavenworth in 94 and thought to myself that if I can ever play that Iβll consider myself a guitarist. Forward 20 years and I cracked it. Ten years on I open with it every time I play but I still donβt think Iβve nailed it. Edit - looked at the site. This is not going to help me get my work done.
