I hope this guitar hasn't been discussed yet...the description says:
"It is a National replica, although original National parts were used, such as the sound box.
The guitar was purchased about 20 years ago at the London Resonator Center (the shop no longer exists).
There is no longer any evidence, but according to my guitar teacher, the three “cones” are original from National.
The guitar was built in the Netherlands by an ex-National master builder.
No further information appears to exist.
It belongs (belonged?) to the British rock musician Brian Parrish."

That's hundred percent pure bollocks from the best barel.
It's clearly Chinese stuff, it could be risky if "National guitars" peep an eye there, selling this as a "National" with a fake sticker could open to some troubles...

There is definitely some confusion on this one!
The only part that is possibly true is that it has a set of National cones and that it might have come from the Netherlands.
I don't think it came from the LRC because Shanghai manufacturers were not using those body moulds at that time, and that is a Shanghai body.
I am guessing that it might have come from the late Søren Venema's shop, Palm Guitars in Amsterdam and that maybe Søren was ordering them with solid headstocks.
Søren did do business with LRC, he was helping them to get Nationals when there were supply or import problems. So somewhere in all this there is confusion over the facts.
I know Brian, but I don't want to get involved with this as someone firmly believes what is being said.

It's because I know at least two case of fake National allready bought by poeples who doesn't know what they seen on yhe pistures exactly. I jump too fast on the red alert button... All my apologies to the persons mentioned here.

No need to apologise. I liked your comment, it was true and straight to the point. I just prefer to spell it with an X rather than CKS when typing online! Shine On Michael
