Offered for sale is an extremely rare parlor sized Columbia brand (most likely Lyon and Healy manufactured) 12 string guitar. Short 24 in.) scale length. Adirondack spruce top, white oak back and sides. Pin bridge - the tailpiece was added later. Ladder braced. Tuning machines in surprisingly good condition and seem fully functional - a rarity in these old 12 strings. Soft V profile neck, similar but a bit thinner than those on old National Tricones. This is a project guitar, and it will need a lot of work. I originally purchased it because they are so extremely rare (I've seen 2, including this one, in 40 years of messing with guitars) and historically important, but I'm on my way to moving overseas and will not get around to this one. Should only be purchased by somebody either capable of doing the needed work, or ready to shell out to have somebody familiar with these guitars do it for you. has a few small cracks next to added tailpiece that should be cleated, some missing binding, will need the neck reset, etc. Absolutely no returns or complaints entertained after receipt, so ask for as many photos as you'd like. $675 OBO with actual cost of shipping. No PayPal, but other methods negotiable. Willing to ship overseas (guitar is presently in New Mexico) via DHL but this is not going to be cheap.
