Sad to read Dick Waterman passed on January 26th. Wikipedia has a short bio on him if you are not familiar. he was, among many things, a promoter of Mississippi John Hurt, Bukka White and Mississippi Fred McDowell and others: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_WatermanHere's a link to his photography of musicians - Rock, FFolk and Blues : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_WatermanAnd I don't know if you can see it outside of the USA or it's posted elsewhere but there's currently a PBS posting of Two Trains Running in which he appears here: www.pbs.org/video/two-trains-runnin-r3lng1/

A 'behind the scenes' guy who we have to thank for giving us the opportunity to see many of the musicians who may have gone unnoticed but for him.

It was very sad that Dick Waterman died last week. I meant to post it on here, but such a busy time that I forgot. So thanks to Harriet for posting. This is a good one.... musicguy247.typepad.com/my-blog/2015/03/dick-waterman-.htmlI never met Dick, but everyone I know that met him said he was a great and lovely human being.
