Not a generic thread title, but I’m reference to the fella in New England who restores old parlours and sells them online. Not dissimilar to baxendale guitars but a fraction of the price. His work looks excellent and his prices are also great. However, it’s a kerfuffle importing and the VAT and duty is a gyp. Wondering if anyone has done business with him? A fully restored 1940’s Stella for £500 is very tempting… www.vintageparlorguitars.com/index.html

I don't know anything about him, but I like the idea of restoring old guitars. A few years ago I bought a beautiful 1945 Oahu (by Harmony) parlor guitar online from Lucas: www.spruceguitars.nl/gitaar-kopen/vintage-parlorsHis prices are similar and work that has done on mine guitar was impeccable.

i've communicated with him about 7 years ago. Seemed nice and was helpful informative - I wanted advice on replacing a bridge, He often has nice selections. Nice to see he's still around.

Similar. Was looking to get one of his guitars a couple years back but I think it was my car going on the Fritz that stymied my plan.
