Ken, dunno if these are just a heads up for others or potential project guits for yourself. here in the colonies where they were born reverb dot com lists: reverb.com/marketplace?query=1940%27s%20rickenbacker%20lap%20steeland has nothing at all listed for a 1960's national lap steel. point is--if you can go test those UK offerings face2face and amplified, and they put a big dumb smile on your face, i would go for it. <$0.02, mitchfit

Just a heads up for the forum, if I were interested I'd keep quiet :-)
These two were your side of the pond, US and Canada, which with import duties and sales tax would make me even less interested.

still, after being vatted @ +$110 and +$120 good pricing for scarce functioning players?
tried playing lap steels before myself, have you ever watched a gorilla trying to pick up a pea from his dinner plate?
