Hi, does anyone have any experience with the snark air tuner?
I have read there could be issues with battery life and fitting some guitars. I like the look of it as it doest have the fragile stem that original snarks have.

Hi purpleorange
I have not used the Snark Air, but I have used Snark tuners for around ten years and I find them excellent. I have owned a lot of them and have never had problems with their durability beyond what I consider to be fair wear & tear. So to clarify, I have had them break and fall to pieces, but only after a pretty tough life. As I use them for professional purposes, when they break I throw them away and get another. I have probably bought one or two a year since I got my first one, oh and occasionally I have given them to friends that are impressed by their performance. Sadly, Mr Snark doesn't know any of this, or I might have got a discount or maybe even a salary from them!
On the the Snark Air - It does look great and I am tempted to try one, but maybe not until the Snark Air 2 comes onto the market and they have improved on a couple of the points I have read about too, mostly the battery life. I think I actually prefer the CR2032 batteries to the USB charging because I always keep a few batteries in my toolkit for a quick replacement if needed, whereas charging takes time and requires a USB socket to connect it to. Those CR2032 batteries last for ages and they're really cheap to buy. I think the last time I bought some they were around £6.99 for 20 batteries.
For those that don't know....
hmmmm....now I want one!
