Don’t know how useful this might be. This guy can make it sound good but I would have thought it would only be useful open and at the 12th. I suppose you could pick up pairs of specific intervals elsewhere.

Interesting,though I don’t think it’s a full scale . The top 4 seem to be G A B D (low to high) I can’t work out the bottom 2 ? The work he’s doing with the volume pedal also add to the ‘steel’ sound.
Is there a video of him explaining the tuning,I haven’t found one yet? Pete

He says it's E diatonic E G# A B C# E low to high, so missing 2nd and 7th steps

Well I got the ‘pattern’ right,just a tone flat. For a moment I thought it was going to be similar tuning to Henry Thomas pan pipes, but that would be E G A B D E ( plus a G on top and a D on the bottom) this might also be an interesting tuning . Pete
