National Triolian 1930 I purchased this guitar from Michael Messer many years ago. it’s fitted with a Highlander pick up and lv’e been gigging with it all over Europe. this guitar originally had a Bakerlite neck. This was replaced with a wooden neck by Steve Evans years back. (We all know about Bakerlite necks I’m sure!) lt’s also in Bob Brozmans book. Reason for sale. Space! £2500

Hello Barry,
Wow! I had forgotten about this one. If my memory is correct I sold it to you in 1992, a year or so after I had Steve make a replica neck for it. The plating, which I think is chrome (?), was done before I got it from Hanks in Denmark Street in 1987 or 88.
If the serial number is in the Brozman book he would have got it from me or Mark Makin. It will also be listed in Mark's book.
I remember Steve building you a replica-ish of my style 4 "Harry Watson" guitar. Long time ago!
Shine On Michael

Glad that you remembered it Michael! I can honestly say that the guitar has been great to me! And yes. Steve Evans did make me a replica of Harry. Beltoña #T 21. (Although l did change the engraving to a style 3.) I still use it. It’s one guitar that I’d never sell.
Really nice to be in contact after all these years. I’ll make a donation when l sell!

Hi I do not want to start a bidding war but I may also be seriously interested in this guitar. Please contact me if any other offers do not materialise. Bruce
