Hi All,
I purchased a lightning resonator a while back and unfortunately it appears that the action is too low and causing a bit of fret buzz. I'm hopefully getting a pickup soon, so I'm going to take this as an excuse to fix the buzz too.
I'm looking for a new bridge/saddle configuration. Thanks!

Hi Stephen,
Yours is an old guitar from the second shipment in 2008 or early 2009 and f my memory is correct its number is #MML0029
I reckon it is more likely to be a truss rod issue. Slacken the truss rod a turn or so with a 4mm allen key. It might be very stiff to get going, so be careful not to damage anything.
However, also on those early ones the biscuit is rosewood and the bridge saddle is maple capped with rosewood. These days the biscuits are maple and the bridge saddles are box wood. This is how they were in the 1930s.
PM me your address and I will put a biscuit and bridge in the post for you. Don't worry about payment, it's on me.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the advice - I took a look at the truss this afternoon, but unfortunately it appears to be the saddle (it looks shaved down on the high E side).
Thanks so much for the offer to send a new biscuit and saddle! That has made my Monday!
I'll send you a message now.
Many thanks again, Stephen
