Being a newbie on here I’ve been trawling the site and was so happy to find this gem. Being a 12 string player I was a big fan of Dave Ray. But the 3 piece combo with 12, 6 and harp is just perfect for folk blues and they are/were such great players. Thanks for posting this. Mrs Trellis

Mrs Trellis Indeed, Koerner, Ray & Glover were one of the greatest acoustic blues line-ups ever. I have listened to their music for as long as I can remember. In 2010, along with Ian Anderson, my partner Sue and I had the pleasure of spending an evening over a delicious fish curry with Spider John Koerner. John is a lovely person and one of America's most important folk-blues musicians. This photo by Ian Anderson was taken at the Green Note in Camden a few days before the fish curry. The solo concert and the fish curry were wonderful evenings. Shine On Michael
