Hi there !
I can't open up the link without Registering/Login-in. What price is it, so we can advise ? I had an August 1996 Delphi from new (for about 10yrs) and it was great - v loud. (Only sold it to raise cash for a vintage National)

The electric guitar I bought from the US (ebay) has been in UK Customs since 1st November, still awaiting processing !!!!!!
As long as it is in good condition (but let's face it, these guitars are nearly indestructable !!!) then I can see that is a good to fair price.

This one's all the way from Italy. Pre brexit it would have been shipping charges, doubt if you'd get much change out of £200 duties etc plus all the paperwork!

The shipping will take it up a bit and the import tax on £1450.00 GBP would be around £300.00 GBP, so it would cost around £350.00 GBP, probably more, depending on who the courier is and whether the seller wants to insure it. Closer to 2k with everything added. Shine On Michael

Plus, I've had problems buying from Italy before.
As well as UK banks charging a fee for the bank transfer, the Italian bank also takes a cut - so the full amount you thought you were sending turns out a bit less than the seller was expecting !
Things may have changed since I bought anything valuable (a painted over National Polychrome Triolian, about 20yrs ago, for 800 Euros, I think it was) from Italy - maybe for the better, but probably not !
