Aloha folks, here's a photo of my 1933 Style O which has a new neck. At some point in the guitar's history, (long) before I bought it in 1996, the original neck was slimmed down to 4 strings. I used it as tenor guitar for years, then raised the nut and played it lap style for a while. The past year or so it was a 3 string bass, which didn't sound great. And now it's back to how it was intended, with a wonderful and wonderfully worn neck made by a Belgian luthier (Vincent Slegers), who did a pro job setting it all up. When I bought the guitar, it was just the body and slimmed down neck, I got the cone, coverplate and tailpiece from NRP. With the new neck on, the only original part of the guitar now is the body.
