I thought this was cool. Not often that National resonators come up in conversation at work! A co-worker and his sister are finalizing their fathers estate. They found an old Rosita that he took with him when he served in the Korean war so they are keeping it for sentimental reasons. No decal on the headstock and they didn't see a serial number on the neck. Of the top of my head here at work I think it is a 1933-1937. Here are some pics.

Marvellous! Great photos, even a freight train in the background! I know that part of Ontario well and have friends in Woodstock. What a lovely find. Best wishes to you all, John

Wonderful!
Is that a Royal Artillery of Canada cap badge I can see as well?

The detail is getting serious! All I can make out is a train, a Rosita guitar and a C chord. Oh...and maybe a plain third. Great photo, Michael, and a lovely guitar. Shine On Michael

My co-worker Roger just told me that the picture was taken in Brandon, Manitoba on his grandparents farm.
His father served in WWII with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles but this picture was taken later when he was in the Korean War.
They aren't sure of what regiment he was in during the Korean War as they are still waiting on receiving his service papers from the government... and you all know how fast the government works.
