Hello All, New member here from Santa Fe, Nuevo Mexico. I am now officially on the list for the next batch of 12 Fret Blues. I've been practicing some slide on my flattop, but I have a real hankering for a resonator. After a few months of obsessively looking on the internet, I feel that this by far the best option available.
I'm frankly amazed that Michael is so responsive and puts so much individual attention to each member of this community. Between the correspondence I have had with him, and the videos of him that I have watched, I can see that his passion and attention to detail will assure that I get a great instrument.
Now, I just have to sit back and fantasize about getting my hands on this guitar.

Before this, I never learned to use slide properly and never play much in open tunings. And suddenly, I became resonator & slide maniac But when I tried to play a resonator for the first time I was completely lost. Sound is different, feel is different, volume balance between high and low strings is different. But when you got the basics it's a great experience

Thank you Joe, your kind words mean a great deal to me.
It's a personal thing for me. I run MM Guitars and this forum because I love doing it, I guess that is the reason I became a professional musician all those decades ago too. I try to treat people the way that I would like to be treated. I find that as our society gets more unfriendly, that I go the opposite way. Over the years I have had a few offers to turn MM Guitars into a real guitar company with my instruments in every good guitar store on the planet, but I declined as I am not interested. Can you imagine the MM Guitars call centre, Urrrggghhhh!!!!! ....Playing Blind Willie Johnson while you're on hold!
Don't worry, the time will fly by and you'll have your guitar.
Shine On Michael

I can say this as a proud owner of an MM Blues 12 fret model, they are outstanding resonator guitars. I also say this as an owner of three vintage Nationals. I love playing the MM. In my opinion they are miles ahead of the other resonators in and above their price range. They play easily and sound perfect. Michael makes all of this happen with his painstaking diligence. He also goes above and beyond to help, answer questions and share priceless information. The MM Blues guitars are simply outstanding.
