I was fortunate enough to find a used Michael Messer Blues 12 fret guitar online last week. It arrived yesterday. These don't come up often in the states. I was looking for a resonator that could be more mobile. One I could take on a weekend fly fishing trip. I can't do that with my two Nationals from the 1930's. This is a really good resonator guitar. It's in great shape. I put new strings on it and have nothing but good things to say about this guitar. It sounds fantastic and plays so easily. If you are on the fence about one of these...don't be. Buy one. On a side note, Michael was extremely helpful and gracious with answering my questions. He has brought to market an absolute gem. Attachments:

mckinleybe1, I only just saw this post having replied to your email a moment ago. Your MM Blues looks really good. It's in great condition and I would imagine sounds everything it should. I am very happy that you are so pleased with your guitar. I know you bought it as a used instrument, but to me it is no different than if you had bought it direct from me. I like this photo of your boots and the guitar. It looks great! Enjoy your guitar and thank you for your kind words. Shine On Michael

Thank you, Michael for the kind words. This guitar is going to spend a lot of time out on that front porch. I spent last night and this morning playing it. It is a really well built guitar and plays effortlessly. It has great tone. I'm feeling very fortunate that I found this one.
