It is a very well made documentary and is highly recommended. I remember seeing it ten or so years ago when it was made. Julien Temple has made some great films, The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle, Secret Policeman's Other Ball, Joe Strummer - the Future Is Unwritten, and the most recent one that I really enjoyed with Shane McGowan, to name just a few of his works.

Not a big fan of Feelgood? Not a big fan of Feelgood? Is there such a person? Once seen never forgotten!
Best wishes to you all, John

Not the current lot of course, which is mostly nine below zero masquerading as a tribute band, but Lee, Wilco and co in their prime, stunning

Not a big fan of Feelgood? Not a big fan of Feelgood? Is there such a person? Once seen never forgotten! Best wishes to you all, John I kind of fit into that category. I saw them a couple of times in their heyday and loved their groove, but it was a bit too much of one thing for me. I have met Wilco Johnson a couple of times, he's a lovely guy, and in fact back in the olden days I met Lee, Wilco and John (The Big Figure) because we had mutual friends. I do, or did have an original mono pressing of Down By The Jetty that I bought on the day it was released. I said "do or did" because I'm not sure if I still have it. Great documentary! Canvey Island Rules!
The Feelgoods were THE buzz pub band to see around the London (at least that's what they used to print almost every week in The NME and MM) but I never did get around to doing that which I know to be my loss.
Amongst my peers in the 1970s, buying 45s was très uncool so we just didn't, but my guilty pleasure was "Milk and Alcohol" and I still have it. I know it was Gypie Mayo and not classic Feelgoods with Wilco, but I'm unrepentant.
"Eight bars of Piano ..."
Indeed!
Sadly, like all these heads-ups, not having a telly I'll have to sit it out.
