I've come across a Harmony era El Trovador for sale for a relatively reasonable price and am sorely tempted... unfortunately it's at some distance, not easy to go and try it out. Has anyone on the forum spent much time with these old El Trovadors? I have a Rosita that I really like, but seems much closer to an acoustic guitar than a resonator in a lot of ways - a much lighter, airier sound than Michael's Blues 28 and 36, perhaps because they were made without a neck stick. I've played NRP El Trovadors, it's a cool sound, but a bit too sharp and clear for my taste. An old Trojan I've heard up close was a little sweeter. Anyway, any experience, advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks -
Gordon
