Hi there !
I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this - but I'm sure the answer could help anyone else who falls into the same predicament.
I'm trying to have sent a parcel from Italy to me, in the UK (Scotland).
The chap sending me some items (spare parts for an item already bought from him, for free) - he needs my "Identification Number" for the postage forms he needs to fill in.
Does anyone know what the Identification Number refers to ???
It doesn't seem to be my National Insurance number, my Passport number, my bank account etc etc !!!
Is it a number for sending parcels to the UK (ie. the same for anyone in the UK) ???
Any help v much appreciated !

Hi again !
My guy in Italy just got back to me.
It seems the National Insurance number is what is needs, as the "Identification Number" for me after all.
I hope that helps any one else trying to have things sent from the EU to the UK.

Hi again !
Well, I have not yet received my parcel ! I have an Italian-made Leslie-type rotary speaker for my Hammond organ clone keyboard. The rubber belt that trandfer's the motor's spin to the treble-horn rotor had split - and I needed a replacement for the gig I had on Sunday, just past.
I risked it and cut the broken ends of the rubber belt as flat as possible (at 90 degrees to the belt) - and Super-Glued the cut ends back together. I was delighted to find that not only did it hold together a few minutes later, when I streteched it over the motor spindle & rotors, it lasted well for a 3hr rehearsal on Saturday. It also survived the hour-long gig. I'm well impressed with Super-Glue !!!
I wonder when I will get my replacement belts ? !!!!!!
