No idea if that is a good price for a Beltona. It seems quite steep to me but I guess it has rarity value. The description puts me a bit on guard because it starts with “National”.
Out of interest I did a quick online search of new NRP tricone prices and I see that they are well North of £3K now! Much as I would like one, that is a huge amount of cash for such a specialist instrument. The trouble is I have yet to try a budget tricone that I rated ☹️. Keep doing the Lottery I guess.

Having been in the market for a Beltona for about a year the price isn’t way off the mark. Also this is one of the early ones (believe one of the first twelve made) which seem to be more desirable than later tricones. Definitely would outperform an NRP but as you say a big ticket.

I see it didn’t receive any bids. Doesn’t mean it’s not worth what is being asked, just a matter of timing.
