I'm wanting to build myself a guitar like those crazy looking late 40's early 50's guitars, think paul bigsby, but I'm after some cool bits for it, mainly a cool looking/sounding single coil pickup or two, I've seen Mojo pickups making Bigsby copy pickups, which are tempting, but £300 a set is a bit steep right now, so I'm hopefully looking to raid someones parts bin, I know some cool pickups have come off lap steels or some of the old cheap guitars had some great dearmond and similar pickups on
Also possibly after one of those bigsby cast bridges, or any other bits and bobs to make a cool looking guitar.
anybody have anything lying around?
Cheers!

I just bought this Bigsby copy on Craigslist...have not seen a budget Bigsby copy before...not bad quality actually. I was looking for pickups also. The Mojos sound like the cheapest...around though I did not see them on the mojo site...was not taking orders yesterday...

Here are a few odd ones, a pair of Fender Jaguars, an early 60s Hofner and a Guild P90 style. Somewhere I have a pair of late 50s Hofners, ( Black narrow coils, like a long Strat with no poles showing) Pete
