You could contact him directly on Facebook ? That would be very helpful to a touring musician whose income has been cut off since March. Don't buy second hand, support the artist! Shine On Michael

Or perhaps the publishing company that then doles out the dregs to its roster of oompah loompahs? Tongue in cheek I know but probably pertinent?

Of course selling a book or DVD second-hand is totally down to the owner, but in the times we are living through right now, artists need all the help they/we can get. I haven't done a gig, tour, teaching event or recording session since January. So I think it is very important, if the customer can afford it, to buy direct from the musician. Catfish Keith and Penny have been friends of mine for 30 years and their welfare matters to me. I believe this TAB book is self-published - www.catfishkeith.com/product/guitar-gems-tab-book/The tuition DVD is published by Homespun, but it is still better to buy direct from the artist - www.catfishkeith.com/product/dynamic-country-blues-guitar-instructional-dvd/Shine On Michael

Too true MM. Also, some folks may have taken a perhaps unwilling decision to sell (eg) a guitar(s) or anything in this case musically related such as a tuition DVD because they too are in a tight corner and grasping at straws?
I know how I felt three years ago when I found myself aged 60 and some faceless specimen decided to close down my place of work, and 250-odd folks with mortgages, university fees for kids and so on were left high and dry. No furlough then. No state support unless you could demonstrate you were actively applying for work somewhere, and definitely nowhere near the generosity of furlough. I suppose the distinction back then was we were just another statistical casualty, but now everything is precient?
As our American cousins like to say; "Whatcha gonna do?"
At the end of the day, I agree unreservedly and wholeheartedly with the sentiment: please do buy direct wherever you can. Support musicians. This is not a game- it's serious.

Davophonic - Catfish is a really nice guy, I was lucky to attend a workshop with him a few years ago and I bought his DVD (I’m keeping it).
However you buy it you will enjoy it, his Gospel Songs CD is bang tidy as well.

I know it's subjective so I apologise in advance, but I've just sat through a nauseating interview with Harry Webb promoting his latest waxing on The Home Service. Yes he's a decent enough fellow compared to some prima donnas, but it takes more than that and I don't derive pleasure from religious dialogue from anyone so I'm biased. I was compelled to think that at a time when so many performers are competing for savagely dwindling resources and revenue opportunities, does the world really need yet another opus from Sir Cliff in his ninth decade? He transparently does not need the money given that he could afford to donate his recent windfall in the form of an increased burden on BBC license payers to charities. A challenging thought and devisive maybe, so again-sorry for any offense, but the likes of Catfish Keith are more deserving in the pool of resources to my mind, and well provided wrinklies should give way gracefully? I'm not singling out Sir Cliff here- he's the thin end of a wedge.
I think it was David Gilmour who once opined that Sir Mick should consider his advancing years and acknowledge that standing in front of tens of thousands, all imparting the impression that they love you is a beguiling experience and a heady drug? (Whoops- thin ice!!!)
Declan P. McManus is being interviewed now so things are looking up. Actually, if you can listen to it on BBC Sounds, see if you can work out who's interviewing whom!
