I hope you don’t mind me calling on the collective wisdom of this forum. Mrs Calvoi is after an acoustic guitar. She currently plays an epiphone dot with a slimline neck and she finds that neck great but she finds that many acoustics have too deep a neck. Any suggestions on brands that manufacture less deep necks. I know they all publish nut widths but have found very little on neck depths. We will be doing a big trip to a music store to experiment soon but keen to hear if anyone has any suggestions.

Hey
The Art & Lutherie range could be worth a look, along with the slim neck versions from Seagull (same parent company). Most Blueridge guitars have a pretty shallow neck also. If you can get your hands on an Art & Lutherie Ami or the newer incarnation then I think you’ll be onto a winner :-)
Cheers Lew
