Graeme, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
I have heard Steve's name, but know nothing about him or his music. If you would like to post an obituary on here, it would be a good place for it to reside.

Thanks Michael Here's a LINK showing a discography of his session work and a photo of the late Steve Donnelly.

Graeme, I have deleted that photo of the wrong person.
Looking at Steve's discography I am surprised I don't know Steve's name because I certainly know his work and may have even met him with one or two of the artists he worked with.

He would have been the one sitting crouched over a guitar in the background and ignoring everybody!

Dear Sir or Madam, I have by accident just read this article about guitarist Steve Donnelly who was a friend of mine whom I worked with and played together with on a cruise ship for over a year down in the South Pacific. I'm quite shocked to learn of his passing and would ask if you could give me any details of his passing and or what happened to Steve.
Yours Sincerely
Tim Hartley (Guitarist/Musician etc)

The person that started this thread and knew Steve is no longer a member. I cannot reveal his contact details, but I can tell you his name is Graeme Selkirk and he is a stained glass artist. His studio is in Crouch End. With that information you should be able to find him. If any forum members wish to PM Tim with Graeme's contact details, that is up to you, but I am not prepared to do that. Good luck with your search Shine On Michael

I think that this Steve Donnelly might well be the Steve that I knew at school and formed a very short lived band with. He was a great guitarist back then ( far more talented than the rest of us). The school was in Weybridge Surrey and the year was 1968. I have no idea how to confirm if it is the same Steve.
