Reluctant sale of this 30 plus year old Stella 12 string replica by world famous luthier Ralph Bown. It is astonishing in detail specification and sound, a true beast. K&K pickup installed and in a Calton case for the asking price, otherwise a cheaper case. It has become increasingly hard for me to play, long scale and big neck as it should be, I have moved to a lighter more modern spec instrument. This would cost a fortune if you ordered one now, it's in great condition with no issues just a bit of pickwear on the top. 26.5" scale, tuned down to B and with appropriately heavy strings. 0.15 to 0.68 Chance to buy a rare and fantastic instrument Looking for £3000 to include the Calton case I will also throw in a framed Matt McGinn artwork sketch drawing of the original 1935 Stella authorised and signed by the late John Joyce.

Incredible. I’m sad I can’t afford it. You will miss it when it’s gone. Great guitar

Hi there !
I've had a go on it - it was lovely. If I didn't already have two 12-string guitars .......... (and too many guitars in total already). Calton case for that sized guitar now, ordering & buying from Calton (now only made in the USA), would likely be about £1k (purchase, shipping & import tax&duty) without the guitar inside !!! So, a great deal !!

To import a Calton case of that size would cost more than £1000. It would be around £1500, so it’s a brilliant deal for a superb guitar. Ralph is one of the great luthiers and a 30 year old one in this condition is better than a new one.
