I'm sure most of you will spot this as a fraud, especially by its zero feedback, but better safe than sorry. Item number: 260204643964 Described as a National Tenor, Style 2 Wild Rose. I emailed the seller asking for more photos and saying that I could pick the guitar up as it was listed in Scotland. I've enclosed his reply here which was sent to my personal email address!! How did he get that as I had ticked the box not to send my address? I've reported it to Ebay
Sorry but i don`t have any pictures.I want to sell it faster and i want to find a buyer immediately. You don`t have to bid and win the auction so you can buy it....if you are really interested i reserve the right to end the auction and make the transaction with you.If this is a reasonable price please let me know and i can make the transaction with you through eBay and i SOLD It,because I`m curently located in Germany whit some bussines and so the deal will be very legit and safe and will not be outside eBay. You will also have a 7 days return policy. If you have other questions please email me ASAP. I will also want you to reply either way so i will know what to do. Regards,

Hi there ! I take it you are not talking about the National (guitar shaped) tenor for sale on eBay at the moment ? cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250207860295&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:ukThis guy was selling his Tenor about 3 months back (give or take a month or two). It didn't meet its reserve. From what I can tell, he is a genuine seller. I emailed him back then to ask if I could come and see it - he replied yes (I think !! I'm struggling to remember !). In the interim, I was offered a Nationa Duolian, 12 fret, rolled F-holed guitar and snapped that up, thereby being unable to buy the Tenor. Thus I didn't bother to go and see it. I think this Tenor and its seller is genuine. If anyone is really interested in it, I could always check it out (he doesn't live far from me, I think) and report back - it may help him sell it and may help you guys trust to bid on it ??

I think it was the same guitar - but a different sellers name. I got a lovely Email from him after I told him I thought it was fraudulent - a page full of expletives.

It's a different tenor guitar that you are talking about - my browser was playing silly buggers . The tenor guitar I was talking about was a tricone version that looked pretty battered. It appeared again today under a different sellers name from a different part of the country which appears to have now been removed. Just to make it clear the National Tenor guitar that Snakehips is talking about: Item number: 250207860295 Appears to be genuine.
