This guitar has been at Johnny's for a long time. Earlier this year I was helping a friend to find a National and called about this one. They didn't know what it was, other than "it's a shiny one with palm trees and it is £0000". I was immediately put off because it was overpriced. Obviously finding it hard to sell, hence the eBay listing.

I saw this guitar when I was in Manchester back in September. Definitely underwhelmed at that price!
Best wishes to you all, John

It might be worth trying to haggle a bit - these 14 fret models are fantastic guitars, they don't really suffer from the usual "vintage National" neck and fingerboard issues.
This one looks relatively undisturbed. Nobody has cleaned it in a long time. That case is not original so maybe another point of negotiation there.

I'd offer them £3000 if they throw in the AC30.

£2750 would be my top price and you are still going to need to spend on it.
