I was talking on the phone yesterday to my old friend, Ron Smith, that runs NoTom Guitars in London and he was telling me that he has a 2009 Weber "Vigilante" Dobro in the shop. I know of Weber Dobros and I think this might be the only one in the UK. It is certainly the first one that Ron and I have seen here.
There is very little information out there about Weber Dobros, but Ron was telling me how sweet this guitar is and I have heard similar things from others over the years. Ron sent me a couple of photos while we were talking and I thought I would share them on here. I am trying not to break my own "no commercial adverts" policy, but I do think this is an unusual instrument that might appeal to us coneheads.
If anyone knows more than Ron and I do about these, please tell us on here.
