I'm looking for a cost-efficient way to amplify my resonator. I already have the iRig HD and I use it every day, I'm very happy with it, so when I read about the iRig Acoustic I was interested. But I can't really tell from the description if it'd work when clipped inside an f-hole for example. Has anyone tried it by any chance?
It'd be kind of neat because I could also use it with my acoustic 12-string, which is not amplified.
I saw several alternatives like the Lace Sensor ultra slim pickup or the Krivo pickup, but they cost almost twice the price, need to be glued... and the Acoustic Stage would (in theory at least) preserve the acoustic sound, I heard magnetic pickups make the reso sound more like an electric guitar...
