Found this yesterday, a '57 ES 125 3/4. I've been on the hunt for one for quite awhile, they've gotten to be hard to come by. This one is in great shape. Sounded awful when I found it. The strings appeared to be new but it had a terrible buzz (and it wasn't buzzing on the frets or at the nut or bridge) and they were way too light for my tastes. I told the owner I was interested only if I could put new strings on it to see if I could fix the buzz. Fresh set of 13-56s and viola, no buzz! And now the action is perfect for Slide and fingerpicking. I'm stoked! Anyone know what size case I need for this?

Nice...hmm...Is that a thinline? I have a gibson case that was using for an odd gibson bass, but was not correct, and i cant figure out what the case was made for. Send me the dimensions...

Hey Fred, It's about 36" long, lower bout = 13", upper= 9.5". The body is 2.5" deep a and it's around 3.75 " at the thickest point (to the top of the strings). I imagine its similar to a les Paul just a little deeper and its a short scale (2.75" I think). Pretty close to a parlor sized acoustic, but thinner...

Well still a mystery...it is around 41 inches long with wide headstock berth...other dimensions match. My 1960 Gibson slab-body EBO fits with some room to spare, though is a perfect fit in a les paul case that i recently found. Maybe this case is for an ES140?

I just picked up a Les Paul case and it's about as close a fit as I'm going to find. Since it's a short scale, there's a few inches above the headstock...
