Hello everybody, I just acquired a used MM Blues 28. I would like to play it lap style with a nut extender. Can I just add the nut extender and leave everything else as it is? Or is there anything else that needs to be adjusted? I also noticed that the biscuit is fairly low, i.e. below the surface of the cover plate (see picture: picload.org/view/rwdipgrr/win_20170804_12_00_36_pro.jpg.html ). Is it like that on other MM Blues 28 guitars as well or should it be higher? Thanks a lot. -Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
You can just fit a nut extender and play your MMB '28 Hawaiian-style.
The biscuit looks low, but they do vary on these guitars. Some of them are lower than the top of the coverplate and my advice is that if it sounds good and plays well, to leave it alone.
Enjoy!
