Just to share my attempt at Willie McTell's "Mama T'aint Long for Day" on my twelve string. This is a piece that he did on the six string originally...

Very well done... it wasnt till it was over when I zoomed in on the headstock... the sound had me thinking you were playing an old stella harmony...very authentic tone for a newer Fender...

An excellent approximation of Willie McTell's guitar and vocal styles and you've pretty well nailed it, I'd say. Very, very good. Well done Harriet

Thanks very much Blind Drunk and Fredcapo . Fredcapo, I like the tone of this acoustic/electric guitar as well, I've found it it to be recording friendly and does not need to be retuned very much. I picked it up - after 4 months and it was pretty much in tune. It was shepherded by a punk-rock musician Tim Armstrong and I think it came out pretty good soundwise.

Your playing and singing is reel, and the recording is excellent... Im confident that George Wein would hire you in a second to play at the fest. edit: If your interested... fpi-no.com/georgewein.html
