Lucky enough to play a handful of great guitars, I've tried to edit a little video test in slide use, if it can serve anyone. The tune is from Blind Willie McTell... Not a great sound, but quite the same conditions (except string gauges, check video description).

From his youtube comments - hope Alexandre doesn't mind ...
Published on Mar 11, 2017 Playing the same tune with : - 30's Hawaiian guitar (possibly Gretsch, Harmony or Regal made) - 1929 National Triolian Wood Body - 1930 National Triolian Steel Body ( 3 pieces) - 1937 Dobro Model 32 Steel Body
Only difference : 1929 Wood Body Triolian played with .012/.052 monel strings, since the other ones are played with .013/.056 monel or nickel strings

The fiddle edge with the country music sticker is my favourite.

Four lovely instruments - each with its own individual tone. I'd be proud to own any one of those - or indeed, all of them.

The decal on the fiddle edge Dobro is from the Sleepy Hollow Gang : ... and blinddrunk, here's the fifth of this handful of instruments: It's a 1915 to 1920 Rex 12 string, possibly Gretsch made, with Adirondack top, birch back & sides, mahogany neck.

Hi there !
Am I seeing a different 12-string guitar in each video - or is it an optical illusion ??
The tailpiece on the black&white video looks shorter but everthing else otherwise looks the same !!

Well, I agree on the fact that it looks shorter, but it's effectively the same. As you know, those tailpieces aren't very common nowadays & anyway, I wouldn't change anything on this one, unless it's absolutely necessary.
