On the basis of how it sounds on that clip I would not be rushing to buy it, I was listening hard and 75% of the time it sounded like a regular acoustic.
A great sounding one of these is the one Michael used to record crow blues, if you can get to hear that you will see what I mean.

This is a pic from Vintage Guitar magazine, showing JBs triolian. TT

The slide parts on JB's track above are played with a spider cone dobro, you can tell from the tone. Great looking triolian though, and I'm not doubting that JB owned it, just saying those slide parts definitely are not played on a triolian. Wish I had a spare 4K lying around.

Joe Bonamassa is rumoured to own around 5 or 6 hundred guitars right? It's difficult to imagine anyone with such a habit (and a busy lifestyle too) finding the time or inclination to part with anything from a herd that large, especially such a beautiful old girl.
Unless there was something undesirable about it of course...

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your kind words, but I have to correct you....
Crow Blues was recorded with two guitars; the main part that I play from the beginning was played on Ed Genis's parlour Tonks Washburn in open G tuning, and the other part that comes in during the last verse was played on my square neck Style 4 Triplate. Those are the only two guitars I play on that track. There is also Ed playing his his Martin and Terry Clarke playing a Guild 12 string.
500 guitars.... Joe should get out more!
