A new tuning for me - "Well, I call it Drop G, because you drop the A string to G (and the low E to D), so it gives an open G 6th : DGDGBE. Just a two notes difference from standard. Could as well be called Drop D/Drop G, or Double Drop whatever, but Drop G is shorter ;-)" Jean-Paul Bataille
Nice tuning, nice guitar and great playing.

Hi Jryder,
It is called G6th tuning and I first learnt about in the 70s from people like Peter Finger, Bo Carter and Stefan Grossman. I think Lonnie Johnson played in G6th too.
There is also a high bass G6th tuning > GBEGBD
I also use a major 7th tuning, which depending on how you group the strings, is also a great 6th tuning. GBDF#BD is a Gmajor7th, and DF#BD is a D6th chord which is moveable.
Nice playing from Jean-Paul
