Hi all
Still waiting to get my hands on my new/old fiddle edged Dobro but hopefully soon!!
In the mean time, it hasnt got a case with it. What is the body shape on these, will it fit it a classical case?
I have two hard cases, one classical hiscox and another that my tricone came in that may also be classical but I've never checked tbh. Is it likely to fit these or do I need to buy a new one?
I'm not expecting to take it out a lot, it's mainly so it's protected while I take it to get work done. Don't want to spend a fortune but at the same time, it needs to actually protect the guitar!!
Many thanks David

Hi David,
It should be fine in either of those cases. Mine goes in a Calton Classical fitted out for 12 fret Nationals.

Ahem, the case for a fiddle edge Dobro is complicated m'lud. Can we have a short adjournment so we can gather more evidence to put before the court, m'lud?

Sorry David, I couldn't resist it - my cracked sense of humour y'know - I had just finished a Rumpole story, a bottle of Speckled Hen and then read the title of your post. As usual Michael is the sane one around here and his answer is perfect; cannot be faulted. My old M-32 languishes in an old 39" fibre board classical case which it fits a treat. The case is not strong enough for posting but it does keep the dust off!
