previous business/ endorsement here lies the body of a somewhat abstract fender experiment that underwhelmed the buying public when issued. it was outsourced to squire- a venus vista XII, and based on a business relationship with Kurt Cobain's widow. they were only sold for two years and few of the XII models were built for squire in japan. the build quality rivals fender's best in the late 90's. the odd thing is, these are excellent electric 12's. while not the sparkly twang of a Ricky hollow, surely the easiest playing electric 12 string i've tried before*. equipped with 12 independently adjustable saddles for height and intonation. a wide neck that was actually designed for the extra strings. hockey stick tuning head, and two sets of two single coils designed by Seymore Duncan for this model. not the strat or ricky sound, but some nice warm, articulate PUPs. it has a solid maple neck with 25 1/2" scale. dunno if price is VAT byproduct, but the dollar conversion would be high in US. if you can---go play this and decide for yourself. love mine. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Vista-Squier-Venus-12-string-XII-/271974139249?hash=item3f52ec0571mitchfit * Charvel Surfcaster/90's Fender XII [strat] reissue/Rickenbacker
