Jono, the MM Blues is not a replica of any particular National. It is as Deuce has said - sort of a Triolian with greyburst paint finish, which is reminiscent of the colouring of a Duolian. It would not be possible to get a good Duco finish without sending Rik Besser to Shanghai, so the next best thing was to use a similar colour. The stamped name in the headstock is also Duolian influenced.
Shine On Michael.
