Michael Messer - Internationally known Slide Guitarist and Blues innovator. As well as his reputation as one of the top slide players, Michael Messer is well known as an innovator, pushing the Blues forward into the 21st century. His 'King Guitar' album was number one in the US Blues charts and his 'Second Mind' album won awards for its originality. The American magazine, ‘Spirit’, listed Messer as one of the greatest Slide Guitarists ever, alongside Duane Allman and Ry Cooder. Michael's latest project with Manish Pinglé and Gurdain Rayatt, mixing the Blues with Hindustani Classical music, is captivating audiences all over the world. They recently recorded an album which is due for release later this year.
Manish Pingle - is one of a handful of musicians in India playing Hindustani Classical music on a 'Mohan Veena' (Indian Slide Guitar). Classically trained in Indian music, Manish is a Master of his instrument. In addition to touring and making regular TV appearances in India, Manish has played in China, Australia and Europe, and now has worldwide recognition for his incredible slide guitar playing and mastery of Indian Classical Music and the Blues.
Joe Filisko - from Chicago, is is widely known as one of the world's leading blues harmonica players. Specialising in early blues, Joe has toured the world and made many successful recordings. In 2001 he was named 'Harmonica Player of the Year'. The Hohner Harmonica Company describes Joe Filisko as the world's foremost authority on the Blues 'Harp'.
Richard Causon - London based pianist and record producer, Richard has recorded and toured with many of the top artists in the world, including.. Tom Jones, Ryan Adams, Charlotte Church, The Sugababes, Kings of Leon, Black Crowes, Rufus Wainwright, The Jayhawks, Alanis Morisette, Alfie Bow and Michael Messer.
Richard has his own recording studio in London where he has recorded two albums with Michael Messer.
Gurdain Rayatt - Born in the UK into a dynasty of Tabla 'Masters' (his Father and his Grandfather), Gurdain is known as one of the finest Tabla players of his generation outside of India. He has performed with many of the Masters of Indian music and also done many solo performances in the UK and India, including, The Royal Festival Hall and The Royal Albert Hall in London (performing for HRH Prince Charles), and the Harballabh Music Festival in Punjab. Gurdain has been playing with Michael Messer and Manish Pinglé for the past two years and can now claim that he is a Master of Tabla playing in the Blues!
