I find it doubtful the Stewmac tuners will be an upgrade -- they're probably the same tuners (or lower) than what's already on there.
Is the bridge on yours worn out? Stewmac has an entire section dedicated to resonator guitar parts.

Hi Jon,
Yes, those tuners will be fine on your MMB guitar. We sometimes fit the plain Golden Age Restoration tuners on MM guitars.
Regarding your question about a bridge upgrade - you have to upgrade both parts, not just the bridge saddle. Get a National Reso-Phonic biscuit/bridge.
Upgrading parts like the biscuit/bridge is only worth doing if the job is done properly and the guitar is well set up. Shine On Michael
