I'm just following the angle of the current bridge. I'm thinking the two tricone cones could solve a lot of problems, but it might still sound pretty average. And they might collapse..... Good luck ! TT

There is no new ground being broken here! Shouldn't somebody look at the work OMI did in the 60s, 70s and 80s when they built 10 string resonator guitars. The 10 string 33D, the model 10, the Bicentennial 10 string, the Zephyr 10 string ....etc. These were all built using Dobro-style spider-bridge cones with an extended bridge saddle sitting in a regular spider. These were mostly built without hand-rests on the coverplates.

Speaking of extra strings - anyone know where I might get a 12 string tailpiece? TT

I did have a Stella tailpiece which I gave to Pete Towers a few years ago, so I can't help. I would ask NRP.

I could also do with a 12s tail/p (I want to sell the 12string, but keep the Stella T/p) Pete T Brandoni Guitars do sell them but they cost more than I paid for my last guitar! (about £12, plus vat. plus p/p ) Allparts also do one

I don't have any photos, but you will find detailed illustrations in Mark Makin's book, 'Palm Trees, Senoritas & Rocket Ships'.
