I was surprised recently to hear blind boy fuller on a subway ad... I've not touched their food, but the ad department has some taste in music...

Thought I would revive this thread with an item of similar interest... Heard a new IBM commercial on CNBC TV that features the Kinks tune "this time tomorrow". The recording is one of several on the album (Lola vs Powerman) that features Ray Davies strumming his National Style O. His Style 0 is also heard on other Kinks tunes such as Supersonic Rocket Ship, and Scattered. It is an interesting approach to use the resonator guitar as a rhythm and backing instrument.
