At one point 14:00 he flips over his style 2 Don and says the engraving was done by folks moonlighting from the Selmer factory.... I wonder where that notion came from? Or was it the copy that Steve Evans had made from it that he was holding.. ?

I know it seems hard to believe that Steve thought Selmer workers were involved with the engraving, but in 1986 none of us knew what we know today. In 1985 I sold a Duolian because the action was too high!
I must ask Steve where that Selmer story came from.
It's a lovely documentary and shows Steve Phillips as a truly great painter, instrument maker and musician.
