Hi everyone, I have been waiting for the right moment to break this news, and today is the perfect time. Exciting news regarding a revolutionary new slide! Thanks to a collaboration with Ian at Diamond Bottlenecks, which has taken months of planning and testing of prototypes, we proudly announce an amazing new slide created from natural fibres! Diamond Bottlenecks & Michael Messer have long been associated with 'cutting-edge slide technology' ~ and the age-old problem of creating a slide that can instantly adjust it's playing-edge surfaces to match guitar fingerboard & bridge/saddle profiles has always been considered the 'Holy Grail' for slide manufacturers. These new slides, the 'Messer Diamond' are created totally from 100% wool. "All the problems that have constantly plagued resonator & slide guitarists over the decades ~ too much volume, sweet tone, long sustain etc. ~ have been totally eradicated by using this phenomenal natural material. There is no string friction at all and the user can adjust the playing surface of the slide to match any fingerboard profile just by bending their finger....it really is an amazing product!" Available in both dome-top closed end & open-ended styles, and in a choice of colours, this slide is must-have in any slide-players arsenal! Photos are: dome-top; open-end; and curved-profile shape. Using our specially-developed Cambered Radius Adjustable Profileā system, this slide is on par with the much more expensive tungsten-carbide slides - and will be marketed as the 'WoolfRAM' 'Cosy-Tone' slide. Orders can be taken today, but ONLY up to 12 o'clock midday Slide On & Shine On Ian McWee & Michael Messer

My granny uses them all the time, she got them in Woolies, before they went bust. Good slide for the knit wits. Good for busking during the winter. Do you have them in cashmere also, and in fairisle.
Best wishes..

Thank you all for your interest in this new product, 'Cosy-Tone' slide. There are many ideas being discussed and even a tie up with The Edinburgh Woollen Mill online store and Sock Shops, but unless we get some orders by midday today, it will be curtains.....or should I say...gloves!

Hi Michael,
You forgot to say it would also be good for buskers in inclement weather.
I don't understand the orders for one or two, surely they come in boxes of ten?
Actually, I think you're on to something here - what about for silent practice?
