Thirty bucks!! Can't wait to try it in my '31 Style 0. It was on EBay about a month and a half ago and I was out bid at the very last second (sold for $77!). The guy backed out apparently and I noticed it back up for auction. I contacted the seller and offers to buy it for what my max bid was on it before ($75!) but before we could work it out, someone placed a $10 bid on it so it was no longer an option. I'm absolutely chuffed (did I use that right?)! Looks to be in great shape. The black squiggly line is a drip of black paint from where someone tried to paint the (original) biscuit. My apologies if I was bidding against any forum members! Vintage Nat cone and Biscuit

Yes, chuffed is right! Must have had your name on it!

You need to thank my wife for me backing off. I made the first bid, and with plenty in my PayPal account said to myself why do I need to have another piece of guitar paraphernalia hanging around... All of my reo's sound great now anyway.

Thanks to your wife! I had actually bid up to $75 the last time it was on Ebay. I entered my bid with 5 seconds to go (the max bid at the time was like $35) but was outbid at the last second. I put a wrecked cone (that I formed back into decent shape) out of a '34 trojan in my '31 Stye 0 recently. Tho it has flashes of brilliance, it just doest quite sound right. Hoping this one is just a tad better!

I'm glad you got it. I have original cones in my vintage nationals. Also I recently had success (at least in my mind) in repairing a collapsed vintage cone with aluminum foil tape. I posted about it recently..
