zak71,
that was the last of a string of postings, and by then the disclaimer list was getting kinda tiresome.
looking back on it i'd guess the second "blah" must have indicated caveat emptor. at least that's the story i'm going to stick to....
the fortunate members who found the tailpiece at this forum were warned. thanx for heads up on that.
didja notice the 1133 within your previously stated pricing range? [forget which thread]
hard time to be selling musical gear. friend-of-a-friend works for sweetwater and their sales have been hurting since last sumer, so it seems more going on than the usual slump for this time of year.

The 1133 with the tailpiece strung the RIGHT way (for a change) that sold for a measly $650? www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1964-National-1133-Reso-Phonic-Guitar-Original-Awesome-/221345927521That's a GREAT deal for someone...hopefully it goes to someone who appreciates it for what it is! Anyone here snag that thing? Looked like a good one! The ones priced at over $1000 have been sitting unsold for months... This time of year is always rough, everyone's paying off the debt they incurred over the holidays. Things tend to pick up where people get their tax returns!
