I like the Kyser, mainly because I can clip it to the headstock so I always know where it is!
The Shubb should work OK, though - the pressure is adjustable so it should be able to cope with your strings. Is your rubber worn ? (no vulgarity, please)

Hi Alan,
If you use a Shubb (which I really get on well with and use all the time), you must have the right one for your guitar - flat or cambered fingerboard. Shubb make both. A flat capo is useless on a cambered fingerboard & visa versa. They also make a wide one for 12 string guitars, which is great on old nationals with big flat fingerboards. Not many dealers are aware of the different models, they just buy the cambered one. I believe they call the flat one a 'classical' for nylon string guitars. I have used them for twenty years.
I like the Kyser, but the shape of it gets in the way when I play. It feels like a shelf bracket on my guitar! That is just my opinion, they sell zillions of them.
Shine On, Michael.

I like the Subb lots, but I'm one of those people who is always 'putting stuff down' , so thought I'd get another.
Just wanted to find out other peoples experiences and its always useful to everyone else.
